AI tools like AIVA, Amper, and Splice are already handling the technical grunt work of production, from beat-making to basic mixing, but the creative vision, artist psychology, and cultural taste-making that separate bedroom producers from hitmakers remain distinctly human. The role is splitting into technical execution (increasingly AI) versus creative direction and people management (still very human).
